I hate to say I told you so, but.....

...I was right! If you take a look at the RockStock facebook page http://www.facebook.com/RockStockHelidon, you'll notice its full of religious references.

It seems all pretence of this event being organised by the Tabletop Arts and Crafts has disappeared.

This is what the page says:

We are the worldwide ROCKSTOCK group of international sabbath keeping fun folk. We are the happy stock of God's flock who want to use music and dance and arts to generate the frequency of joy as our strength.
Every year we begin the biblical New Year week with a community party with fun song and dance- just like the biblical David danced and sang for the glory of God with his village or stock (tribe). We use the vibrant music of Rock and Roll with a spiritual lift from our choir groups to do this. The biblical New Year is usually in September/October and is followed by 6 other special biblical days of celebrations of joy called Sacred Sabbaths. The ancient words for New Year were Roch Hosanna. This site is dedicated to our music and dance and sharing it and the days of Sacred Sabbaths with those who want a reign of peace & joy. Glory to YGod in the highest.
Wow, that's not what Sue Lindsay said back in 2008 in the Toowoomba Chronicle. http://www.thechronicle.com.au/news/cult-follower-moves-clear-groups-motives/22289/

This is typical of the MMM, though. They are constantly rewriting their history. If you're going to be a good liar, you need to have a good memory to be able to keep track of all the lies that you've told!

What's happened to Claire? What's happened to Helidon.org?

Well it seems things aren't going too well for Debra these days....

http://dialogueireland.wordpress.com/category/magnificat-meal-movement/

She's lost Claire Murphy and Claire Birchley! Is it any wonder now that the www.helidon.org site is a dead link. There doesn't seem to be too many Balls, Jazz Festivals, Celtic Festivals etc. anymore.

This can only be a good thing.

I received an anonymous post in the 'Comments' to my previous post below. The poster had a good idea:

Perhaps you can invite ex-members to send you their stories via email and you can publish them on your blog. Just a thought.

So if you'd like to send me any contributions, I'm more than happy to publish them
