What about Christmas?

Well if you check out the http://www.helidon.org/ website you'll see the cult is keeping its 'slaves' very busy organising Balls, Celtic festivals, RockStock concerts....Phew!

Gee you'd think they'd be up for a big Christmas Ball, or a Nativity play or maybe organise Santa to ride down the main street of Helidon dishing out lollies to the kiddies. Well..... no, there's absolutely bugger all until New Year's Eve.

Very strange you may think. Well not when you read this page on the Magnificat Meal Movement's website: http://www.magnificatmealmovement.com/December%20Web/25%20Dec.htm. I find this paragraph from that page very interesting: "...December the 25th will not be a wise activity to be involved in for any emotional, social or spiritual or everlasting or even commercial reason." Huh?!

So is it just me or is it a bit too much of a coincidence that MMM denounces celebrating Christmas on December 25 and neither the Helidon Sports & Rec Association, Tabletop Junior Arts and Crafts Club Inc, Southeast Queensland Junior Astronomers nor the Celtic Historians Association Inc are organising anything for Christmas?

What sort of club wouldn't organise any form of Christmas celebration? I'll tell you what sort - one that's linked to the MMM. After all, they're not adverse to raising money and you'd think Christmas would be a big money spinner.
